Governor Chris Christie supports a brand new Jersey casino expansion referendum, but it’s not too popular with voters who can have the say that is final November.

Nj-new jersey casino expansion has the backing of many state that is key including Governor Chris Christie (R), but unless the majority of Garden State residents help bringing casinos north, Atlantic City will preserve its gambling monopoly.

A recent poll conducted by the Rutgers-Eagleton Institute of Politics found that just 44 percent of voters believe gambling enterprises should really be allowed in jurisdictions outside of Atlantic City, while 49 percent think gambling should remain limited to the southeastern beachfront metropolis.

The casino industry into the Terrapin state is absolutely thriving. The latest report implies that Maryland casinos delivered record numbers in the month of August.

This week, revenue numbers had been released and Maryland’s casinos registered its fourth-best month-to-month video gaming income numbers ever. Based on a recent report, the state’s six casinos reported their gaming income figures at $154.3 million for the thirty days of August, that will be up 5.4% from that time a year ago.
